INTRODUCTION
- Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University (SVDU) is established in the year 2007 under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956 vide notification of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India, No. F.9-46/2004 U.3 dated 17th January 2007 and vide UGC Notification No. F. No. 6-106/2004 (CPP-1) dated 09th March 2007.
- The Institution is accredited by NAAC at ‘A’ Grade with 3.53 CGPA in year 2015 and Re – accredited by NAAC at ‘A++’ Grade with 3.61 CGPA in year 2022 at four point scale and is also conferred with CATEGORY-1 status by UGC.
- The Institution undertakes programs in Medical, Dental, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Healthcare Management, Audiology & Speech Language Pathology, Paramedical Sciences..
- The Sumandeep Vidyapeeth is the first institution Deemed to be University to be established in Health care field in the state of Gujarat to serve the cause and welfare of the community.

- A 1360 bedded multidiscipline, super specialty hospital within the campus, equipped with state of the art equipments, not only caters to training needs of Programs / courses but also provides highly subsidized, quality treatment to all the sections of the society, primarily the deprived and the under privileged.
