Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, established in 2007, is the only Medical self-financing Deemed to be University in the state of Gujarat offering 29 Diploma, 18 UG Degree, 64 PG Degree, 12 PG Diploma, 5 super specialty courses and PhD in all the subjects of Health Sciences like Medical ,Dental, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Pharmacy, Management .
Sumandeep Vidyapeeth,Deemed to be University was conferred “A” Grade with 3.53/4 CGPA, in 2015 by prestigious National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
In 2018 UGC has awarded the Category1 status to Sumandeep Vidyapeeth deemed to be university under the UGC Categorization of Universities for grant of graded autonomy regulations 2018.
At the very inception it recognized the importance of “authentic, validated evidence” as an emerging trend with promise of excellence, and devised a unique innovative Evidence Based Education System as the basis of all its academic and professional activities.
Today with a sprawling, eco-friendly, lush green campus, it houses seven institutes dedicated to education and health care and a 1340 – bedded modern multispecialty hospital, and a Dental hospital, with 350 high tech dental chairs, both equipped with state of the art equipment, and they not only cater to training needs of these institutions but also provide free or highly subsidized services, ranging from basic life support to super-specialty care, to patients from the entire state of Gujarat, and other neighboring states also.
Ever since its inception the institution has made giant strides and transformed itself as a pulsating, vibrant health care educational hub, and shall continue in its endeavor towards being a centre of global excellence in the field of Health Education, Health Care Services, Evidence Based Practice and Research.
